Junior surfers have the backing of one of the island’s car dealerships as they begin their quest to boost the country’s rating on the international surfing scene. Courtesy Nissan has come on board, not only with a cash injection, but providing the team with gear as well.
President of the Barbados Surfing Association Simon Coles, accepted the sponsorship cheque from Nicholas Mackie of Courtesy Garage at the Barbados Olympic Association’s headquarters. Coles, who noted that sponsorship for the team had been extremely hard to source, said they were very grateful to Courtesy. Stepped up “Nicholas Mackie and Courtesy are half the reason we are going to Peru.
